1. GENERAL TIMES

  • To participate in the scheme companies, partnerships, groups and other associations (the “Participant”) must be a member of the Chamber.
  • The card must be presented at the time of purchase for each transaction.
  • The card must only be used for business to business purposes and transactions.
  • The card is non transferable and can only be used by the person whose signature is on the card. Such person must be an employee, member or partner of the Participant (the “Individual”)
  • The cost to purchase a card is £25 per card. This fee is non refundable.
  • The card has no cash value.
  • The card is valid whilst the Participant remains a Chamber member.
  • The card must be immediately returned to the Chamber if the Participant ceases to be a member howsoever arising or the person issued with the card ceases to be an Individual.

2. CANCELLATION

  • The Chamber reserves the right to cancel the card with immediate effect in any circumstance which the Chamber feels warrants cancellation. Examples of such circumstances include: if the card is used in a dishonest manner, if the Participant discontinues their membership to the Chamber or if the majority of the participating businesses no longer wish to supply such discounts, offers, benefits or services. This list is not exhaustive.
  • No refund will be given upon cancellation of a card and the card must be returned to the Chamber.

3. LIABILITY

  • The Chamber accepts no liability for the offers, discounts, benefits or services supplied, advertised or provided by a participating business, which can be withdrawn at anytime without notice or liability on the part of the Chamber or the participating businesses.
  • The Chamber will not be liable for any discounts, offers, benefits or services withdrawn by a participating business.
  • The Chamber does not accept responsibility for loss or damage of a card.
  • The Chamber will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events outside the control of the Chamber.
  • The Chamber will not be liable for any use of the card in breach of these terms and conditions.

4. PRICE

  • The cards are £25 each. This is a one off payment and is non refundable. Payment can be made to the office by cash or cheque.
  • Credit cards can be accepted (£2 handling fee per transaction will be charged).

5. REGISTRATION

  • All Chamber members requiring a card must complete an application form. All cards will be consecutively numbered.
  • The Chamber has the right to reject any application, for example if an applicant provides false or misleading information on the form.

6. DATA PROTECTION

All information given on the application form will remain confidential to the Chamber and will not be passed to third parties.

7. LOST OR STOLEN CARDS

  • Any card lost or stolen must be reported to the Chamber office. The card will then be cancelled by the Chamber.
  • A member can purchase a replacement card for £10.

8. REPRESENTATION AND WARRANTIES

The Chamber is independent of the participating businesses involved in the Loyalty Card scheme and the Chamber does not make any representations or warranties on behalf of the participating businesses.

Each Participant who applies for a card accepts that by participating in the Loyalty Card scheme, they have not relied on and shall have no remedy in respect of any statement, representation, assurance or warranty (whether made negligently or innocently) other than expressly set out in these terms and conditions.
